On behalf of the Board of SGIS, we warmly extend an invitation to you to attend the 2025 SGIS Annual Conference.

Hosted by our brilliant colleagues at Leysin American School (LAS) we are excited to learn, laugh, and lead together.
From Friday March 7 to Saturday March 8 we will unite in exploration of "The Deliberate Design: educating the whole child".’
This conference theme centres our collective thinking on how schools can create the optimal conditions, and deliberate structures, within our society, our strategies and our scopes and sequences to enable our students to not only succeed in school, but to flourish in their lives.

From ethical intelligence to belonging, diversity to design thinking, the conference promises to provide for educators across Switzerland, a deep and meaningful learning experience.

We are a proud organisation of committed and collaborative educators, and we warmly extend this invitation to you - to join us in the magnificent mountains of Leysin.

The Swiss Group of International Schools actively supports the continuous improvement of its member schools by creating opportunities for collaboration and connection.

About SGIS

The Swiss Group of International Schools (SGIS) is a non-profit, membership-based organization that aims to actively support the continuous improvement of its member schools.  We encourage and support collaboration between schools through the exchange of information and good practices, and facilitate opportunities for members of staff across our schools to connect with others and further their own professional development.

Similarly we facilitate opportunities for students to connect with other young people, particularly through our sports programme, leading to a richer educational experience.

SGIS was founded in 1969 and now has 54 member schools.
